Welcome to Lowtoxgear ("Lowtoxgear", "we", "us"). These Terms govern your use of lowtoxgear.com (the "Site"). By using the Site you agree to these Terms.
What Lowtoxgear is
Lowtoxgear is a curated directory of consumer products that meet our low-tox criteria. We do not sell, manufacture, ship or fulfil any products listed. Every product page is an editorial review with a link to the brand's own website where you can purchase the product. The brand is the seller — not Lowtoxgear.
Product listings, prices and availability
We work to keep listings accurate, but please note:
- Prices shown are approximate and reflect what we recorded when we last refreshed the listing. Always verify the current price on the brand's website before purchasing.
- Availability and specifications are controlled by the brand. We are not responsible if a product is out of stock, discontinued, or differs from our description.
- Certifications shown are sourced from official public registries ("database verified") or the brand's own product page ("brand-claimed"). Our tier labels distinguish between the two. We do not certify products ourselves.
If you spot an error in a listing, email founder@boolsai.ai and we will review it within 5 business days.
Affiliate disclosure
Some external links on Lowtoxgear are affiliate links. If you click through and make a purchase, Lowtoxgear may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Inclusion in our directory is based on our published low-tox criteria, not on commission rates. We do not accept payment to list products, change scores, or hide unfavourable information.
Your purchases — handled by the brand
When you click an external link, you leave Lowtoxgear and enter into a transaction with the brand. The brand's terms, returns policy, shipping terms and any disputes are between you and them. Lowtoxgear has no role in the transaction and cannot assist with order issues, refunds, or returns. Please contact the brand directly for anything purchase-related.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms excludes any non-excludable consumer guarantees or rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010). Because we do not sell products, those guarantees apply to your transaction with the brand, not to Lowtoxgear's editorial content.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Site to break any law or regulation
- Scrape, copy or republish substantial portions of our editorial content for commercial purposes without written permission
- Attempt to disrupt the Site (DDoS, exploits, etc.)
- Misrepresent yourself when contacting us
Intellectual property
All editorial content on Lowtoxgear (article text, scoring methodology, design and code) is © Lowtoxgear and may not be reproduced without permission. Product images displayed on Lowtoxgear are served directly from the brand's own content-delivery network and remain the property of the respective brand. Trademarks shown belong to their respective owners and are used for identification and review purposes only.
If you are a brand and would like any image or content removed, email founder@boolsai.ai and we will action the request within 48 hours.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lowtoxgear is not liable for:
- Loss arising from inaccurate or out-of-date information on the Site (we provide reasonable best effort, not warranties)
- Disputes between you and any brand you transact with
- Indirect or consequential damages
We make no warranty that any listed product is fit for any particular purpose. Use the information here as a starting point for your own research.
Changes
We may add, remove or change products, articles and these Terms at any time. The "Last updated" date will reflect changes.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of NSW.
